Like it or Not, the Plane is Too Expensive
Airplane tickets for Brazil, this Christmas, are going for £800 and more. It's too much. My mother had offered to pay for my ticket, but I just don't see it happening now. £800 is close to $1200 U.S., if I'm not mistaken. And I would only be able to stay in Brazil for 3 weeks, or so.
But I have a second plan. I could go after the high season, Mid January or even February. Ticket prices fall and I could stay for a month (probably unpaid vacation from work, but I don't care.) It would give me time to really hang out with
roguejournal, travel to Sao Paulo to visit my old friends, maybe travel to Bahia. And stay, also, at my mom's farm in Corrego do Bom Jesus (it means "Good Jesus' Little Stream" in case you were wondering.)
