time for my last post of the day.... perhaps
I make my way, tonight, to Sao Paulo's bus terminal Barra Funda. I'm meeting my mother and brother there, for an eight-hour bus ride to Londrina:
Sleeping overnight in a bus is already tough, but a Brazilian bus!!! well, it's like betting your life on number 13 and spinning the fortune wheel: there are too many crazy truck drivers crossing this country, drunk men who fall asleep in their speeding cars and veer towards the buses... the list goes on. You open the newspaper and there's a fresh story of some bus that crashed, with countless victims inside.
Feeling cheery, suddenly.
I tried to commit a henious crime an hour ago: download the song "Xanadu". But my efforts were frustrated and I was left with only a mildly amusing medley of 80s one-hit-wonders.
This day will be long and boring.
