The Cure Is Not The Cure

Yesterday, I went to Paddington's library after work. I borrowed the latest The Cure album as well as the one released by Mercury Rev in 2001. So far, I'm pleasantly surprised. "The Cure" is actually everything a Cure album should be: moany, poppy, introspective like a taciturn teenager, with weird eastern guitars thrown in and odd melodies that throw you off. Mercury Rev is more of an acquired taste.

I then bought £27 worth of groceries and got caught by the rain walking home.

After cooking dinner, I passed out on the couch. My energy levels have dropped in the past few days; watching tv is all I can muster when I come home. I think I'm fighting an approaching cold, so I drink tons of juice and hope that it'll go away.

Please go here and decide which book I should start reading tomorrow night (if you haven't done so already.)

Expect many quotes and excerpts in the coming days/weeks.
