A Game of RPGs

I've started reading A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin in preparation for the serie's debut on HBO (17 April). It would have made more sense, I think, for them to launch it close to winter (the show's tagline is "Winter is coming") but I'm not complaining - it will be nice to have something to latch onto now that The Killing ended.

This trailer seems very faithful to the book, hinting at a nice restrained narrative.  Hopefully the characters are less histrionic and two dimensional than what I've read so far.
