Short Story Creation #1

Lets play a game:

- Pick a book near you (novel, short story, poetry - preferably a creative work) and choose a random sentence.
- post it here and include the source.
- I'll write a short story that combines all of the submitted sentences.
- I'll get one of three illustrators I know to create a cover for it.
- I'll put it up as an eStory to download by the end of February.

How about it? I'm thinking of this as a New Year resolution, with six stories created by the end of 2012 - one every two months.
