Day 86 - Life
My brother waters the vegetable garden in the mornings; I do it in the afternoons, just before sunset.
The cats come with me and run up and down the rows. Once the job is done, we go for a walk within the guesthouse.
I need to see more of the mountains, the toucans and hawks, the screaming maitacas, my brother’s dogs in the distance, the clear skies.
I need to see less of the online hatred, the growth of fascism in Brasil, the death tolls, the crazy conspiracy theories.
I can only preserve my mental health right now and hope.
