Lying in bed, listening to a nondual teacher online. Staring out of an open window, a sunny autumn day.
He said: there is no time. It’s a mental construct. Without the mind, there’s only this moment – an eternal moment.
I took a deep breath and relaxed; almost fell asleep. What seems to arise is easy, plain and simple – for someone far from tear gas, marches, chants, statues and wars.
Am I brave enough to kill my past and future? Place all my faith on this moment? One second to the next, handling life as it arises – an eternal babe reborn.
