Laundry Day
The guests have gone, the sun is out: it must mean it’s laundry day!
Pillow cases, bedsheets, towels, duvets and blankets. Washed and hung to dry. Once the pandemic is over and we can receive more people, we’ll return to our previous arrangement: send everything to the town’s laundromat.
For now, it’s one of my chores, which my mom helps me with: once they are dry, she irons everything.
