Kick my Butt
I took my first dose of AstraZeneca 8am this morning. About 8 hours later I started feeling unwell: numbness all over, chills, aches and weakness. I lay down for a bit but couldn’t stay down for long; had my chores around the house.
I chatted to some friends who were also ill and researched online for any tips on what I could take for the pain. Apparently, Dipirona and Paracetamol are ok. Aspirin is not.
We have a couple arriving tomorrow for one night. Hopefully I’ll feel better. It also doesn’t help that temperatures have dropped in Brazil, hitting low level records. Our house has no indoors heating (aside from a fireplace in the living room.)
I’m wearing all the layers and working up courage to eat some toast.

Statistically 4-6 people in every million, but over here (Australia)- 3 people (both genders) were hospitalised with severe reactions and we had not vaccinated a million at that time. Nowadays the regulations dictate that AstraZeneca is not to be administered for people (any gender) aged between 40-50.
