The Return

My boyfriend and I fly back to London tomorrow.

If our Lufthansa flight disappears over the Atlantic, I'll come back to visit you (yes, you reading this--I'll be by the foot of your bed at night, when you wake up with chilled toes.) I won't do anything; I'll just stare. And in my stare you'll know that I won't rest until my body is found at the bottom of the ocean.

You know…. It is quite difficult to find entire bodies in the middle of the ocean. Fish tend to eat them, and currents to scatter the parts. But then, spending eternity at my bed’s side wouldn’t be such a bad prospect.

Very glad you made it back to London! It'd be very annoying to have you at the foot of the bed every night, not least because then there's no space to get around the bed otherwise ;)
