By this time, next week, i'll be back in London. Somehow... it's not so bad. Being in Canada is fun but my life in London is also good. I have Megan, Karla, Lilly, Silke, Kate (girls, girls, girls everywhere.) Perhaps what I miss is a few guy friends. I have my boyfriend... but sometimes that's not enough.
I miss being part of a boy club.

Beauty and culture died in Ottawa a long time ago. Whenever I'm in a city full of white people, with little multiculturalism, I feel the death of something important, a necrosis in my brain. And when you drive outside Ottawa, specially around Kanata, you might aswell be in some American suburb. Everything is the same. McDons, Starbucks, Blockbusters... I told Kevin last night that I could only experience strip-mall culture on drugs... because with my perceptions altered it might become bearable to face another onslaught of parking lots.
