Bonjour, mes amis
Jul. 8th, 2003 11:22 amI'm in Canada; I will live here again, one day.
Perhaps I'll try Montreal again, perfect my french, my slow weekend days on the mountain, surrounded by the beats of drums, the sight of Quebecois hippies and thin bicycles.
Or maybe I'll move to Ottawa, drive myself into the government, or a university, earn well and commute to Montreal for the weekends, for fun.
Even better would be to move to the east coast, Halifax or even Prince Edward's island. 21st century Anne of Green Gables. Happy go lucky in another bush party. Writing fiction, licking maple syrup, receiving visitors, in a cottage by the sea... on a cliff.
I'm very happy to be here.
(drank way too much this weekend... the wedding was a blast... now we recover in Kevin's farm, outside Ottawa.)
