The Way Through the Woods
Weird coincidence... Kevin`s mom and I share a love for Murder-Mysteries, so she sent me a couple of novels as Christmas gifts. I was just reading one of them, "The Way Through the Woods" by Colin Dexter (excellent, by the way) when I came upon the following paragraph:
"At lunch-time that same day, Alasdair McBryde came out of the tube station at Manor House and walked briskly down the Seven Sisters Road - finally turning into one of the parking-and-garage areas of a high-rise block of flats that flanks the Bethune Road."
FOOKING Hell! That`s where I lived last year! (the road, not the flats) Bethune Road is quite a small insignificant road, and I know exactly which flats he is talking about. Isn`t it odd? I never lived on a Road that was mentioned in a novel. It`s a nice feeling.
heard from my old housemate Nicky that the house we had to run away from is now up for sale. I wonder what Pure Evil is doing these days? Probably still concocting schemes to avoid paying taxes...
