You want to live in Montreal someday? Get used to it -- in Quebec, winters are -50C with the windchill.

i lived there for 5 years... but eventhough it was cold, the sky was blue... and as long as you had a proper coat you were alright.

But here, it's dark, dirty and dreb! good for inspiration but terrible for the mood.
