Actually, Aquarius is not my best match... though I have a good amount of Aquarian friends, their habit of bumping into things all the time and disagreeing with everything I say tends to drive me nuts in the long run. I definetly get along with Cancers and I'm just now starting to get along with Aries... could it be because my ascendant, Scorpio, is strong?

It's me, your most recent would-be livejournal convert and most deeply, essentially (though not necessarily obviously) elegant AQUARIAN friend, whose name shall remain unwritten here (perhaps because of her over-cautious virgo moon). So I'm lurking, because I've been on the site trying to figure out how to get registered here, and I want to ask (out of personal interest)- just how many people comprise your informal demographic of clumsy, contrary water-bearers? Because if it's less than 3, I have an idea of where your impressions come from ... Ok, so I'm not the most kinaesthetically keen person I know, but I think it's a little endearing, no? Only sometimes is it expensive ...

a contrary thought: maybe you just *notice* disagreement more than consent - is it possible that your more Scorpionic tendencies ask that others automatically, by default, agree with you? That perhaps, when someone *sometimes* presents a different perspective, you might make a generalization that they do it all the time? (This is a typical phenomenon, proven in several social psychological experiments: when a person experiences a few occurences of an event actualized in a particular context, perceived with a high degree of emotion (especially when negative), s/he will generalize that felt emotion every time that context is experienced [the "halo effect"]. Maybe Aquarians agree with you more than you think, but you don't notice it.
