Completely. One of my housemates does that, and he's makes such a pronounced lip smacking sound when eating, that you'd think you were dining with a pack of wildebeest or some shit. I told him: man, you'd probably have better luck at getting a second date if you'd learn to chew with your mouth closed, and improved your overall table manners. However, I will say this, whenever I'm trying to eat while he's also eating, he's helped me lose more weight thanks to his slovenly habits.
