Same here. I feel like I'm in too deep - know too many people, am hooked on too many soap lives - to be able to pull free.

It's just a phase and I'm sure tomorrow I'll be excited about it again.

The thing with me is that I don't want to feel I'm wasting my time on LJ. I'd like to log on and read posts and entries that amuse, teach, scare or whatever - but which never bore me!

why not just set up filters for reading then?

That way no one needs to know you find them boring, and it works out well for everyone!

But people do know! They start wondering why you haven't commented in ages, they come to your journal and show interest and make you feel bad about not commenting. Oh well... I really don't care.
