Monday Expectations

I need a MEGASCANDAL on Livejournal to start my week. Everything has been so boring lately. Let the fighting begin.

My new apartment is gorgeous. Kevin and I took a few suitcases over last night filled with books and stuff. From two of the bedrooms' windows you stare directly into the canal and the barges. You can sit by the window and watch tourists board a travelling barge, or people jogging. From our bedroom (which used to be the living room), Kevin and I have the view of grey coucil skyscrappers, St George flags and a bit of green. Most important of all, nobody can stare back into our apartment. As we were sitting on the new bed our landlord bought for us (!?!) we heard the neighbours playing some reggae. Reggae drifting through the walls sounds so much better than when it's played on your stereo.

How much does it cost to get a sofa upholstered? The sofas left behind in our apartment are MINGING.

heee! Indeed they are. The only problem we have with them is that they are American sized and our living room is miniscule :(

Thanks for the offer... but what I think we'll do is throw some covers over our sofas. Also, I'm going to shampoo them and that should help.
