This is worse than selling out

"Johnny Ramone, punk's sole big-name Republican, became the right-wing's answer to Michael Moore or the Dixie Chicks when the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two years ago, and he announced from the podium: "God bless President Bush, and God bless America."

2-week-old article about Conservative Punks.

I'm also tired of those bands... emo punks right? But I still think that there is a common enemy out there which is important to fight - namely these big money assholes who don't give a shit to anyone. Bush would rather line his pockets then try to figure out the growing inequality in America, and in the rest of the world. To me, a band that strives against that, is alright.

Nah, emo "punks" are just cry babies that whine about everything and make a big deal out of it. I'm talking the majority of all punk here. Conservative punk is more like fast Oi! really. I hate-Bush bands and I hated bands approving the terrorists on 9/11. Anyhoo, gotta get my butt to work.
