It’s ironic really, but I too find that this medium, that I imagine was created for people to trickle out freely whatever is in the mind onto the keyboard for creative or cathartic purposes, can feel constrained.
Maybe not being teenage and angsty (well.. less angsty) anymore plays a factor in this reaction.
