Sickie Update, plus Fluff

Internet is down at home so I can only sneak-a-Livejournal-peak at work. If there's anything I need to know, drop me a line, etc, ad infinitum.

Quick update: I've spent the evenings this week writing my novel (provisionally titled Blank Shots) as part of NaNoWriMo, and uploading it to a blog. I will post a link to it soon, for anyone interested in crappy first drafts. My word count at the moment is just over 13,000 words.

Kevin had a battery of tests and will find out next week what was wrong with him. He's feeling better now, craving chocolate and croissants like he's good ol' self.

I want to see Borat this weekend, or Red Road, The Page Turner, Little Children and The Host. So many choices, so little money.

Little Children was good I thought. Borat is supposed to be hilarious. Red Road looks ace is in a thriller type way, so I guess it depends what mood you're in really as they're all so different. The Host looks good in a general way though so that one isn't as easy to categorise! x

For thrillers, Red Road and The Page Turner look like the best options; Little Children, from what I hear, is very thought provoking and well-shot/acted; and Borat and The Host are just good disposable fun.

Little Children was very thought provoking. I really enjoyed it. What did you see in the end??

Borat. Just hilarious --- you must go see it.

Yes I really want to! Went to see Starter for Ten last night which was a little bland really. Just your average feel good film. Everyone I know who has seen Borat has given it the thumbs up so that'll be the next on the list, along with Red Road!
