What's your opinion on Twitter? Do you read them on your friends' list? Do you like using it? What's the point? (That's what I'd like to know.)

Ha, I like the micro-blogging but I believe an etiquette will evolve and I think people will begin to limit their networks. I have been giving a lot of thought to the micro-blogging and i see relevant applications. You are right a lot of mundane garbage can be sent. And there are narcissistic and historonic people out there that think every breath they take is of interest to the whole world.

These social networks are primarily designed for advertising. There are many people driven to creating large collection of friends and getting them to respond. Web Celebrity has been around for a while. Viral and Web2.0 marketing, word of mouth too...all is incorporated. This works for bands bars and other venues... I think Twitter has some design on this. ...aaa..

Anyway, I am not using Twitter - I have been considering it's value ... but i bet it is annoying if people are just putting comments out in hopes of some attention. Or giving you a play by play of their daily life.

Oh well, a lot to say but I'll spare you. in a comment and maybe post some of my research in the LJ. Right now, I need to scratch my ass.

Oh one more thing, did I read that you published? I'll go back and read again. I really need to get over to my mother's house and help her clean the horse dicks - yuck. I should never have agreed to this horse ranch thing. Horses are a lot of unnecessary work. If i was independently wealthy and could hire a staff, ok, 1000 pound pets could be fun. It's like a hole in a pasture you throw money into.

I didn't even know farmers had to clean their horses' dicks. Why is that?

Farmers don't have too do it and most don't. My mom's horses are pets and she babies them. They get special Diets and meals. Most farmers just put a huge bail of hay out and keep, keep the weeds down and promote grazing grasses. The books on horse ownership and vets. recommended cleaning the penis because it pulls up into a sheath and well bacteria dirt and bugs get up there too. It makes a mucky mess in there like a dirty toilet and scrapes cuts and bug bites happen. I suppose the smell attracts flys which annoy the horses to no end. Well, other hose owners, and even champion horse owners we have talked to don't do it. But the happy pet horse book and vet recommends it. My mother , being the conscientious pet owner she is, she insists upon it. It's not as bad as it sounds but I think most people would find it gross just to think about let alone do. --- I just through that in to lampoon twitters of useless ennui and lamb content. Same with the scratching my ass... :) But i guess washing horse dicks is at least amusing and curious .. .
