Twin Sundays

It's a Sunday for spending indoors, cooking lunch with friends (brasilian feijoada) and watching Twin Peaks. It's a Sunday where I've finished Madame Bovary for the 2nd time while getting through my 2nd cup of coffee and now have a skype date with my family in Brasil for 8pm tonight (but my mom says my nephew may not be there as he's afraid of computers.)

It's a Sunday of two fried eggs on top of toast for breakfast. It's a Sunday where my boyfriend and I had initially planned to go for a 5K run in Victoria Park but now we are aiming for an hour-long walk to our friends' apartment in Clapton (where said Twin Peaks marathon will take place.) It's a Sunday for further inroads into A Storm of Swords (Game of Thrones #3).

Grey, uninspiring Sunday. Like the radioactive dust that falls on your hands and on your face... on your face... on your faaaaace.

Hungry Sunday.

Monday never comes too late. And for the 6th week running I'll find a coffee shop in the neighbourhood, around 8.30am, and do a bit of creative writing before heading into work.

I have tried a few times to make a TP marathon at home but none of my friends want to watch it! I should look for some fans in Barcelona making one and join a party of interesting strangers :D

That's a shame your friends are not into it. Mine had never seen it and it was fun watching their reactions and hearing afterwards what they thought. We only did the Pilot episode - we'll watch the rest of Season 1 next Sunday.

I feel the need to use this icon. (in case you're wondering, that's me pregnant with Bethan in 2006! See how the trees have grown, although it helps it's May)

I remember that visit! I'd love to go one day. Happy to report that Twin Peaks has aged very well and is still one of the best things ever made for TV!

Definitely - it was still good back in 2006!

Wow, must be fun to watch Twin Peaks with people who've not seen it before.

We've done TP marathons a couple of times, but we always seem to forget how long it takes for the killer to be revealed, which seems like a sensible place to break. This does give everyone more time to practice tying knots in cherry stems though.

Good work on the early writing habit btw, setting a regular time like that must a good way to make it stick.

Cheers!

Now that I've got Monday pinned, I need to extend the routine to another day of the week... and another... and another...

Grey and uninspiring in London, how unusual #sarcasm :P
