DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May. 21st, 2001 10:11 pmSomething funny happened tonight at the branch...
I went outside to smoke a cigarette when a man who was
walking in the street stared at me ... I pretended not to see
him looking and when I looked in his direction he looked back...
he had a funny look in his eyes...I freaked out, really.
I rushed inside the school and sat next to my students and
talked for a while..
Just after I had recovered from the 'frightening ' experience outside ,
the room was invaded by a guy who wanted to sell us a pen for
2 reais. He told us a story that he makes objects such as pens
and jewellery to sell at 'Calçadão' and he needed money to buy
some material. He was really eloquent and seemed to be honest,
but to tell the truth we were all scared. He was a bit scruffy
and - I know it may sound prejudicial - we were afraid he could
point us a gun or something . Fortunatelly he only thanked
us for listening to him and went away.
I guess that school needs some kind of security guard to stay there
while people are having classes. .
Also, Elaine's desk is in a such bad position...right in front of
the glass door. It couldn't be more dangerous.
I'm thinking about talking to the boss tomorrow and ask him for
some attitude towards the problem.
I hope he listens to me!

I'm starving and I guess I'll cook dinner!
I'll be right back.
