You`re left all empty...
Feb. 1st, 2003 11:31 amWe`d been planning this whole week to go dancing last night. And it happened! I`m surprised with myself, mostly because I realized how long it had been since I stood in the middle of a dance floor, cheaply drunk, swaggering my hips to *gems* like C. Aguillera`s Dirrty... and it was worth every last 10 pounds of it.
We went to Popstarz, at the Scala, an indie gay night. One room played the above mentioned, aswell as other R&B stuff. The main room played alternative music (I danced to The Strokes, Suede, Pulp, Hole... great room) and the top floor played cheesy 80s (anyone remember Kylie Minogue`s Put Your Hand on Your Heart?)
Skipping up and down, dancing a little bit in each room. 5 hours of this took a toll on our bodies. Some guy on the stairs (stood there the whole night) took a group photo of us (but I have no clue for what)... and I also witnessed the security catching two girls having sex in the toilets.
But the most surprising thing of all was:
Good looking gay men exist in London!
The general look there was of slim, well toned, stylish guys... just like what we love. None of those sad Muscle Marys, no Trendy Wendys, just boys that wanted to have fun.
And we have decided to leave our shells and do this more often. First... get a second job so I can afford this life.
