Fate, have the best of me

I bought the lottery ticket.

My numbers are:

14 - 19 - 21 - 27 - 46 - 48

The machine picked the numbers randomly for me. The jackpot is for 5.4 million pounds. I'm 27 years old so I'm thinking that's a lucky number on my favour... I will be finding out tonight, at 21.10. I might let you know afterwards if I'm a millionaire and what the hell i'm doing with my fortune. Or i might be sobbing into the left overs of my cheapo red wine I bought the other day, disgruntled that my lucky streak ran out.

But there are some good news: a book arrived in the mail today, sent by my dad. It's called "The Selfish Gene", by Richad Dawkins. Is this some kind of symbolic message that I'll become filthy rich and a selfish bastard? Limos, coke sniffed from the butt crack of models, jet planes, doing yoga & pilates, a nanny and a trainer, while checking out the hotties... do you think i'm satisfied?
