Monday bloody Monday, without Bono. A bonus at work would be nice. Nice to be nice but you don't have to be so nice to me. I had a dream with Atlanta suffering from downpours and floods. Why must the weekend's Attitude slip by so fast? Why did I spend it holed-up, like an armageddon survivor? Why did I get a little bit tacky too?
Must have been the polaroid camera, recording the dirt.
I would prefer a digital one, arm stretched out, staring straight into that mini hole. So many pictures of myself that I can only forget you. You that I don't know and insist in showing up in my dreams. Blue people across the world, tearing me down. Meaning something to me that I can't break through, can't decodify quite yet. Not blue, not blue.
Just before falling asleep,lala_jones called. Thanks Natalia for the talk, for the tips about researching and figuring out what to do with my unlived life next year. I briefly faltered and thought about giving up the idea of a Masters. WHy would I want another history degree? Didn't history end with the Net boom? If we are sifting through the culture of previous decades, like rats in a dumping site, then there must be some truth to that. Hyperbolic History Over. History without Cultureless Terrorists Over. History at the Movies Over. History of your Sexual Diseases Over. History of your Favourite Bands Over. History of the Top 100 Disco-Floor Fillers Over. History of Nothing on Tv Over. History of How She's the One for You Over. History of Being just Number Three Over.
