The things you hear on the radio
Mar. 21st, 2004 10:34 amHave you ever seen an alien or an extraterrestrial? Or do you know someone who has? Do you believe in them? Do you believe they are here? Have you been in contact with any of them, through telepathy or any other means?
I woke up around 8 o’clock with the radio on Resonance FM, and a man talking about contacts with the CIA, MI6, flights across the world to meet people. His words were slightly mixed up with my dreams and it took me a while to realize he was talking about extraterrestrials. He was a good narrator, one of those people that tells stories with details, describes everything and everyone like a storyteller should. He was also originally a real estate agent, which could explain his skills in “selling” the idea that aliens are amongst us. I’ve heard this story so many times before but this man, George Green, really believed in what he was saying. Either he has very deep connections with all the governments of the world, the Mafia, aliens and talking vegetables in South America, or he needs a straight-jacket and some Valium.
This is what I’ve gathered about the alien presence and the history of Earth:
- Our planet has a sister planet called Era. The people described in the Bible as living for a thousand years come originally from Era.
- There are several different alien species in contact with people and governments in our planet. Some of them want to help us, some of them want our destruction. At the moment, there’s an alien species celebrating our iminent destruction.
- Earth is seen as the Prison Planet. The “Australia of the Skies”, as Green put it. All the different races on this planet were sent here from different planets to be punished.
- 2012 is the year when the Earth’s axis will flip. There will be great changes on Earth and only a few will survive. The Pleiadians, an alien people that looks exactly like us, told him so. He has a book, which he will send to you for free which will explain to you the iminent changes in the world, and how you can help and cope with it. His website is http://www.nohoax.com
What’s great about this storyteller (and I have no doubt that he believes in this “fiction”) is that it ties in with a book I’m reading right now, a collection of essays on the development of science fiction from 1900 onwards. It’s amazing to think that if you told someone a hundred years ago about cyberspace, they would stare at you in wonder and incomprehension: human beings didn’t have the imaginative capability then for accepting such notions so easily. It shows how much our race has changed in the last hundred years, how much we have gained from science fiction in terms of allowing our imagination to progress and expand. For example, the idea of radars appeared first in science fiction before scientists attempted to build one. Submarines as well. I would even guess that any and every great technological advancement was first thought out by artists and writers before reaching scientists. Poets and artists are the true geniuses of mankind, followed closely behind by their less imaginative brothers – the scientists.
Which brings me back to George Green. If he had any true idea of the value of the information he talks about, the language he would use for explaining it to us would be very different – he would realize that he was once in our shoes (the incredulous) and try to adapt and present the information in an intelligent, and less fictitious, manner to us. Instead, this man spoke in full “fiction” mode, describing his trips from one part of the planet to another as if he were the hero in a science fiction novel. He was so entranced in his delivery of the information that he didn’t realize how many glaring inconsistencies belonged in it – a sure fire indication that he is a big fat liar.
Oh well, I guess that means I have to continue with my job search: the Pleiadians never said anything about saving the unemployed of this world.
