Life in a dual day
Apr. 7th, 2004 11:03 amMonday morning I got up around 7am, together with Kevin, and got ready for work. I was feeling a bit nervous but I figured everything would be okay once I settled down. I took the Tube and, when it stopped at Oxford Circus, prepared to get off. As the train's doors opened, who was in front of me, ready to get in??? Ginger Minger Stalker!! There he was, wearing his Boy George cap, going to work in Waterloo. But then I became worried: I know where he works, but he doesn't know where I work! Does that mean I've become his stalker? Or, as a stalker, will he revert this situation by trying to track me down again? Isn't that what stalkers are good at?
I was assinged to work for the Royal College of Psychiatrists for only two days. The work was horribly dull and repetitive, but it's money. Yesterday, I had to sign someone's name 250 times. I fell into a trance and discovered something. Writing Emma George eventually becomes Am I a Gorge? This could possibly work with everyone's names and explain that old proverb: "There's more to a name than meets the eyes" (or something like that.)
After work on Monday, I met up with Kevin, our friend Joel, and his Hawaiian friend Noue. We went to see a ballet. It was my first time and it was fun. One of the dancers is the girlfriend of an old friend of Kevin's and Joel's. She was really nice but I was feeling too knackered to hang out and left them for home.
I also saw a couple of "celebrities" - which I'll be writing a post in
