The Hair that I Didn't Love
Feb. 5th, 2005 11:33 amMy boyfriend just said I talk like Yoda, that everything backwards I say. What a little shit!
I'm gonna write a quick update, take a shower, shave, put on clothes and go walking through Portobello's Market. There's a tiny second-hand bookshop near Notting Hill Tube that sells very old sci-fi novels. Check it out I want. I'm also going to drop off a film to develop. Kew garden photos it has from almost a year ago. Kevin wants to find some props and old keyboards for the little movie he is making. I think Kevin's fantasy would be to cast Johnny Depp in a futuristic movie about planets covered with garbage. Just guessing.
I haven't shaved for three days. I went to the bathroom and noticed a few brass-coloured hairs on my face, growing side by side with the usual brunette ones. The poor fellas don't realize that soon I'll be soaking my face with hot water, spreading shaving cream and slicing them away with my gilette (Mac 3). They'll float in the water for a bit, then get washed away. They'll travel through the pipes and reach the sewers. Will they keep going until they reach the sea, or get stuck on some old brick that holds London up? How long does it take for hair to disintegrate?
