Blergh! Stupid fucking coughing itchy scratchy throat thing that I suspect I caught in the pool where I swim sometimes and think "there's dead skin from other people floating into my mouth" and it makes me want to puke I have to hold back the urge of spilling my previous night's dinner into those waters because you know I'd have to swallow it back down the shame would be too great to just leave my puke staining the blue waters (which have nothing pure about them) so I keep returning to that chlorine cesspool working on my strokes using flip flops in the shower rooms because don't want to catch anything nasty between my toes but guess what those nasty little germs are everywhere and I swear I'm close to becoming one of those freaks that washes their hands fifty times a day.

Phew! Out of my system, that was.

Went for lunch with Rosie today, which was really nice. She had told me a few days ago that she worked not far away from the National Theatre, so we thought it would be cool to hang out for an hour - and it was. I'm now contemplating calling in sick tomorrow and using my day to search for a laptop, or even order a credit card from HSBC. There are tons of sites looking for writers, for submissions, and here I am having to make do with Kevin's computer or the library. I could fly if I had my own laptop. Also, the BBC are constantly looking for writers, for scripts, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. What do I have to lose? Rien, mes amis. Rien

It's fun to write long meandering sentences without full stops or commas for example I'm now listening to something by The Faint (in my copy of [livejournal.com profile] zaubin's mix - which I sent to him ages ago) and it's getting me all jumpy my fingers are pumpin' and I want to keep rambling on hoping some insight will spill out and make this paragraph worth it damn the beat is drumming but where is the singing oh here it is something about the pressure dropping well my shoulders will definetly be lighter when this tedious week comes to an end then I'll have the promised sunshine and the promised heat back again so we can enjoy ourselves finally in this dank dirty grey city that everyone in the world seems to think is so cool but just about right now is like a buggering grave to me.

I feel the social glare, I feel the attitude...
