I`m meeting
desayuno_ingles today for the first time! She came to England with her mom for a week-long holiday (she arrived on Saturday); I got to speak to her on the phone last night and finally heard her voice. She called about an hour ago and I suggested we meet outside the National Film Theatre. They have a nice bar where you can grab a pint of ale, sit by the windows and talk while watching the barges and boats on the river Thames. I told her to wait by the river; I just had a look at her user-icons to remind myself of what she looks like.
At lunch time, I literally ran into Martine McCutcheon (she was in that movie Love, Actually, which I have actually not seen yet.) I was coming out of the National Theatre's canteen and she was walking in; she gave me a startled look and said "sorry". I then went to the fourth floor, near the entrances to the Olivier stage, found myself a seat by the window and dipped into my copy of Guy Gavriel Kay's The Last Light of the Sun.
In 38 minutes I'm returning to the canteen for a cup of Earl Grey tea.
