The Monotony of Home Aloneness

I have to go out soon and buy a turkey. I've never bought such a thing before so I'm dreading the visit to Marks & Spencer. Plus, I've been all alone today, so my body is mellow from pasta goodness, bath with candle (camomile scent and Body Shop milk immersion), and much Animal Crossing niceness. The outside world looks too cold and unwelcoming. Perhaps I should give myself a treat? Drop by Gamestation and buy a videogame or three?

Kevin is quitting his pub job today. He'll still work for the next week, up until NYE, because he was given those shifts and he knows the boss would be in deep shit if he just walked away. Pub work is apparently crap (they don't get paid for their breaks or any extra hours used after closing time for cleaning up the place). Surprisingly, there are people in that pub who've been working there for years. And I thought the life of an office temp was the pits.

I think it's about time I bought The Very Best of A-Ha.
