My New Exotic Pet

We kept the bear cub with the dogs, inside a stuffy cupboard only narrow enough for them to crawl in and out. I could tell Tete was jealous of the bear cub because she would whine and try to stop me everytime I petted him, changed his water, or tried to take him out of the cupboard. I had to remind myself that his water should be changed twice a day, and food put in the tray.
I lassoed him with a wiry noose to get him out of the cupboard. I turned into a young boy with stick legs, a blue jacket and a tie. It seemed perfectly normal we were taking a bear cub for a walk in the park. Tete, with her face pressed against the front door, whined to be let out. With her tiny head, she pushed against the door, got it open, and rushed after us.
