Mini Friday Catch Up
Jun. 9th, 2006 08:22 amThe Field, now playing at the Tricycle theatre, is brilliant. Written and set in 1965, it actually plays out as a very modern thriller. The acting was amazing and there was absolutely no false note or step. Go see it.
I went with Kevin, a co-worker and her housemate. Afterwards, Kevin and I caught a bus home and I took some enjoyment in spotting the play's cast, now in ordinary present day clothes, briskly walking down the sidewalks, talking on their cellphones (who talks on their cellphone, at 10pm, on Kilburn High Street? They obviously don't live around there.)
I can wear shorts, t-shirts and flip flops to work. My life would be complete if I could also blast Pet Shop Boys across the office.
