More Twists Than an Episode of Lost

This person had a friend who wanted to buy a novel from Brasil (translated into English, of course) because her co-worker was flying to South America on the first stretch of a year-long tour of the world. The girl who flew to South America used to work in my current office. The girl asking around LJ for brasilian literature suggestions wasdollydiscord, my predecessor. I drew a list of books for a girl I didn't know, who worked in an office I couldn't dream of one day joining.
The links between us, when found, can vibrate with a strange and comforting resonance... as if there is meaning to everything, but what that meaning is remains ever elusive.
Another day, another freaky coincidence. Conversations on ghosts, witch covens, curses, clones, long-lost family members and magic no longer seem out of place.
