The End of Winter, Part 5

People who I see on my daily commute:
A tall, thin and sombre Somalian teenager.
His two sisters, either some feet behind or ahead of him – never together.
A father taking his son to the local Montessori school.
A well-dressed man in his thirties who always wears shades and looks like a young Paul Simon.
A slim, bearded fashionista, with a pierced left ear, curly hair, glasses and trousers that are always slightly too short.
Another bespeckled fashionista, but bald, who only wears black.
A lesbian couple at the start of their relationship.
A white, fluffy cat that is unafraid.
