Day 38 - Friend
Feb. 7th, 2020 04:56 pmRosana, our cleaning lady, came today.
She’s one of my few friends here. She lives up in the mountains and always invites me to visit her for a cup of coffee and slice of cake. I never go. She feels a bit sorry for me and the amount of time I spend at home. It’s no secret I never go out.
She cleaned all windows, flooded the reception with soapy water. Rain came and went; we ran back and forth with laundry.
For lunch, I prepared the usual rice and beans with some chayote she brought from her veggie garden.
