Day 43 - Treasure

They are celebrating Carnaval in town. In my bedroom, I celebrate alternative music from the 80s and 90s.

I learned today that Robert Smith listened to the Cocteau Twins non-stop in the 80s; and got himself ready for his wedding while playing their album “Treasure”.

I also learned that 4AD – the band’s label – has a founder called Ivo, which is also the name of my favourite track in “Treasure”.

Kittens play fight on my lap, mom watches the news in the lounge, books call to me, my eyelids are heavy, my ears crave sweet songs to ease me into sleep.
