Day 54 - Surprise
Mar. 5th, 2020 05:44 pmI had just lunched when I spotted my brother climbing up the stairs with four people. Guests! Who had booked their arrival for today! Which I’d completely forgot!
After some awkwardness, and reassurances that everything was fine, I convinced them to leave their bags at reception and go for lunch.
I rushed to their apartment to make beds, sweep away insects and check everything was OK. When they returned, they were astounded by the bedroom’s view. They asked if they could live with us.
Some hours later, my mom shows me a gift they brought: a box of Swiss chocolate.
