Day 61 - Quarantine

My father is no longer coming to Brasil. We thought best he stay put and by his wife’s side. In any case, I don’t think he’d be allowed to leave (or enter Brasil, as things are going.)

We decided today to close the guesthouse until further notice and go into self-isolation. We are shopping tomorrow for some essentials to last us the month (but we promise not to bulk buy toilet paper!)

As soon as I’m done with my current translation job, I’m returning to the garden, the orchard, the veggie patch. It’s time to pull out weeds and plant.
