Apartment João-de-Barro

After many months shut, we have finally re-opened our João-de-Barro Apartment (named after a Brazilian bird).

We stopped using it after we spotted mice droppings and couldn’t figure out where the mice was hiding and how to catch it. We had all sorts of theories: even that it might be a bat.

Finally, I asked my brother to bring a tall ladder so I could inspect the ceiling (the droppings always landed in the same spot.) Turned out it was getting blown in through a slit in the roof. We fixed it and now the room is Back. In. Business.
