I had a lovely surprise this morning. A package had arrived from Australia...

Amity (pitseleh) sent me a copy of Turin Brakes' new album!!!

It was the best possible way to start my week. I can't wait to get home tonight and listen to it.

This is very special to me because it's the first time a LJ friend that I don't know sends me something by mail... I received a sweet handmade Christmas card from Meire once (roguejournal), which also made my day.

When I got to work this morning, they were playing in the cafeteria Turin Brakes' first album... good coincidence!
