Cops on my Street
On my way home, in the number 6 bus, I momentarily leapt into tv land. The bus was gliding down the street I live on when suddenly a formation of cops, in two lines, perhaps 40 of them, ran into the front of the bus, from a side street. The bus slowed down and everyone pressed their noses against the window to see. A man stood in front of a house, gesticulating in the air with his arms, screaming something (probably "In Here! In Here!"). The 40+ men clad in black leather and helmets stormed into named house and disappeared into it.
Crack haven or Kitchen Sink drama?
I saw a woman run the opposite direction, down the street the cops had come from. Everyone else just watched, mesmerized.
I'm hoping they'll tell us what went on in the news.
