I don't know why some people have added me to their friend's list. They never reply to any comments I leave on their journals, they never read my journal (because if you never ever comment on my journal then that's the obvious conclusion) so why?

Why?

Are they after some flimsy medal for "Has Most Friends in LJ"? Do they think their views will be more valid if people think they are popular? God! What a joke! Please, if you are reading this and you are one of these people, do the decent thing and take me off your friend's list. I hate poseurs.

The thing that annoys me more is when I add someone, comment to them, etc, but they never add me. I can respect only wanting your friends in your journal...but, jeez, is it so bad to meet new people?

yeah... why can't they at least reply, say something like "erm, i'm happy with the friends I have..." I don't know.

People are lazy and forgetful and I'm feeling that maybe my outburst was a bit of an overreaction. After all, it's just "cyberspace" and things don't have to be so rigid. But I will still get annoyed if someone adds me and makes no effort to communicate... I'm not a number for someone to boost their friend's list.
