Movie Optioning
I have an idea for a movie.
It begins with the touring bus of a goth band crossing America. Let's call them The Bloody Owls. They are touring their best selling 1st album, and they are made up of characters that resemble Marylin Manson, Siouxsie, Roberth Smith etc.
One stormy night, the tour bus gets lost and ends up in this little town in the middle of nowhere (say, Nebraska). One of the girls in the band goes to find some help but the people of the town attack her because they think she's a demon.
You see, the town is made up of Hard Core Christians!
From there, it becomes a fight for survival for our heroes in the tour bus, as one by one they get pursued and hacked to bits by the crazy Christians.
They even crucify the main singer at one point...
My movie is a bit like Children of the Corn meets The Hills Have Eyes. Marylin Manson's (M)obscene would have to be on the soundtrack... and there's also a romantic moment when the backing singer and one of the roadies (the only two that survive) are hiding in a grim toilet and they kiss to the sound of some Gospel.

sounds kind of like 'chopper chicks in zombie town' if you've ever seen that:
a group of biker chicks who get stranded in 'small town, USA'...mad scientist...zombies and a bus full of blind orphans.

there will be plenty of gore, I can assure you! All the right-wing press will decry me as a blasphemous artist and Newsweek will call my movie "a swift kick in the horror genre's butt."
