Toronto in the Dark

I sent a text message to [livejournal.com profile] atouchsensitive, telling her I was ok. She then tried reaching as many of her friends as possible, because she didn't know who it was that had sent her the text... and she was worried the person might be trapped in an elevator -- this being during the black out from yesterday.

So I had to call her cellphone and tell her that it was just me, from England, that I was fine.

It was a dream...

crazy dream...but dsince I walked 16.1 kms nonstop to get home yesterday, it could very wll have beenr eal...cause reality was like some fucked up twisted dream....it was like the opposite of 28 days later...although i ended up dreaming of that film during the night, and I awew Jim's hairy aknles as he blew his braisn out in the alternate ending, while having a blossoming affair with a girl...it was bittersweet, but reality was what was shocking....

i saw a shooting star, and the headlights of airplanes flying through the dark...until the moon rose, making the milky way melt away...

i need to write a novel about the walk home...and the following sequences

you do! that sounds like a crazy night...

[identity profile] dilvalicious.livejournal.com 2003-08-16 12:17 pm (UTC)(link)
it was crazy...it was like the we got to go camping, but the camping came to us and we still got to sleep in our bed at the end of it all... and the people on our street were all on their lawns, some were drinking, we just talked and exclaimed over the stars, and discussed the illuminati and other conspiracy theories, as it turns out Arthur is into all that stuff...Arthur is a really interesting guy, and it is cool that all the things were were curious about him, we found out so many pieces to the puzzle that night

that sounds great... if there was a powercut in london, i wonder if people would be so friendly...

probably, i mean hell...even in new york city, most people were being nice to one another

well, their psyche is so damaged... by the end of the century New Yorkers will be renowned as the nicest people on earth.

that would be a cool thing if it happened
