Checking for Fillers

I had no idea there were so many music channels on cabel: Kiss, Smash Hits, Vh1, Vh1 classics, Mtv, Mtv2, Splash, Box... it goes on and on... and there's even a Reality TV channel? No wonder I've been feeling out of the loop -- we have barely 5 channels in our home, and we hardly watch tv. Kevin and I went to Dave's apartment (which Karla is taking care of while he is in Australia) and got to vegetate infront of endless channels. We eventually settled for 100 Greatest Dance Floor Fillers. Sad to say Deelite's Groove is in the Heart came in 6th.

When could anyone resist the impulse to dance to Groove is in the Heart when it comes on in a club? Never, I say.

*************

Some grocery shopping today and movie rentals at night. Silke and her boyfriend are gone for the week (on a holiday in France) so Kevin and I will stay in her bedroom (with her TV and DVD, The TV will sleep beside Kevin and the DVD beside me) while my mom takes my room. Any movie suggestions? If it's PG rated or made by Paramount/Disney, forget it.

I could resist dancing to Dee Lite. If I'm going to dance, it's going to be slow dancing, a la swing/ball room or slamming in a circle pit. Beyond that, most modern dance looks like people have itching powder in their skivvies. Unless, they're doing that "grinding" aka "body rocking" shite, where they're dry humping each other...

hahah! come on! Nobody can resist Groove is in the Heart... they did a study in Harvard, with unemployed students, and it was a 100% certain result.

:oP

See, here's the thing, I've participated in some studies at various schools, and in each of them, i was paid cash. I assure you, I can resist groove is in the heart.

thats all well and good, except for the fact that Detroit's an hour and a half drive away from me, and I get around by bike. Just accpet it man, I can't groove with dee lite.
