the 80's were such a good/bad decade...the fashion was just wrong, some of the music was just wrong, but the good stuff was amazing

oh yeah... it was mostly wrong wrong WRONG! we saw a bit of Commando last night, and it was such a godawful movie... i can't believe put things like that out there for the public to consume...

but there was also tons of great underground music, films, literature...

it's weird isn't it? it seems like those contradictions have disappeared... in the 80s, if you had a mohawk, people would stop and stare and throw shit at you. Nowadays, people don't seem to be shocked by anything.

I STILL get a kick outta seeing the new gen y kidz bringing the mohawk back. Then I realize how vain they must be to spend all that time primping with elmer's glue and paint brushes in the bathroom. Which takes the street cred away! hahaha!
