Energy begets Energy
Shooting Golden Eagle.
Went last night to my fourth Tai Chi class. Unfortunately, my respect for the teacher is decreasing with every class... he comes out with gems like this one: "Energy creates... energy" - all said in a serious, guru-like voice. And he looks at me in a standoffish way, not giving me a chance to come up to him and talk more about Tai chi.
Usually, the class is split between two buildings because there are so many students. Last night we had to all squeeze into our room with the other building's students, because of closure in the other place. It made for a more sweaty, aerobic class. Squats, crunches... if I don't have a Brad Pitt body by Christmas time, I'll have to shelve my plans of being the next Jane Fonda.
Highlight of the class was when the Guru-of-the-guru (the teacher from the other building & master of my master) told us to get into a circle and punch the person in front of us (while trying to protect ourselves from the person behind.) Because I've been on a lucky streak recently, I got a dwarf-looking hippie with a ponytail and a desire to punch the living lights out of my arms and thighs. And I got to punch the YummyOlderGentleman who always dresses in white. Oh well, lose some & win some.

slave2dafunk and I walked past the singer from The Pretenders. We returned to our favourite Chinese restaurant and had 2 Tsing Tao beers, tap water, prawn crackers, egg-fried rice, fried mixed vegetables and lemon chicken. The waiter treated us well, as if we were regulars.

I hate snotty teachers...I really loved my yoga teacher she was amazing! I want to go back to the yoga center
